It's not you, Philip, it's Gmail. Apparently SORBS has tagged them for allowing spam to spew forth from their servers.
I run against SORBS's blocklist, and my server logs are full of entries like those below. This has happened before, and I'm amazed that Google hasn't knee-jerk reacted faster to clean up the collateral damage. In fact, this has been going on for 4 days now; usually these things are fixed within 12 hours.
Unfortunately, I can't turn off
SORBS because I'd be inundated with spam. One suggestion:
since only certain Google outgoing servers are tagged while
others are working, keep trying to send until you chance on a
server that isn't tagged. Frustrating brute-force attack, I
know, but it often works. Cheers,

This is an expanding problem that is blocking independent communications which do not go through major Corporate Sites; as I see it, they are essentially crippling email (as blocking inline attachments of pdfs) because it can not generate enough revenue, and using other streams allows pirating off the commons and price gouging. It also contains elements of Governmental censorship, because their license to do so is prescribed in law.
There is no notification when I send a GMAIL that bounces and the recipient has no clue, especially in Corporate servers. Much of this type of problem just happens in the background without warning. I maintain it appears to be part wars between the Tech Giants as well - Windows Servers are like sieves and reject anything not to their specifications which are idiosyncratic to say the least. Apple v Adobe, etc... I am having the same issue with my GoDaddy hosted emails - which they inform me will disappear in a year or two.
What is the difference in China blocking an awards show from Hong Kong viewing and US Government-sanctioned businesses blocking my emails unless I place it through a Facebook site? It appears to be a serious issue that is out of control. We make every business profit about military secrecy and security overshadowing the cost of items as production gets cheaper.
As an aside, I am reviewing HIPPA regulations which have severely eroded since the CARES act. It is a curious thing that it comes about by covering medical situations where money changes hands - essentially banking. That is used to justify the Federal Government, which has no Constitutional Authority to regulate Medicine, to do so using Taxation powers; or under the guise that in some twisted way my delivering a baby in a Hospital is Interstate Commerce.
And we wonder why some politicals feel free to openly lie, much less pretzel themselves within sophistry, with every challenge quashed. This is not a partisan statement, as I have no clue what the solution might be.

Hold on there, Tim. I choose to run against four "realtime blacklists" (RBLs) which list IP addresses which have originated spam in the last 24 hours, and you will almost certainly get a bounce notice if your email bounces because your ISP (Google, in this case) originates spam. The alternative for me is to be over-run with spam; I get enough even with the blacklists.
This has nothing to do with
China, Hong Kong, corporate stuff, Democrats, democrats,
Republicans, republicans, or QAnon. And in my case, there's
no money changing hands whatsoever, except my payments to my
ISP. The RBLs are free, as is this list. Cheers,

there's no reason you shouldn't see your own posts just like
anyone else (except when they bounce because of spam, as is

FWIW: I can see list posts from others, yet I never see my posts; it's been that way for years using gmail -- IIRC, Gib advise that gmail was blocking such.

Tech IS generating huge money, just behind the scenes. In the case of the owner of Facebook, increasing the problems to the tune of one person $50 Billion. I would at leasst judge technology as sort of Interstate. We have eliminated paper charts in the Hospital, but actually generate more extraneous destroyed paper than ever.
As to lists and QSA in general, I would subscribe and have bought products I do not use in support. You are an unsung hero. I do not charge for the information on my website, and to some they actually judge it inferior because no money passes hands.
I do not get a message of bounce for gmail, do not use Outlook which I believe is part of the problem. Others have noticed and sent me the documentation.
