I’m sorry about all those
pesky subscription cancellation alerts. In some cases, your
mail might actually have a temporary problem; however in many
cases, I have no idea what causes the notices to be sent out.
For example, one of numerous messages in the same domain might
show errors, while the others are delivered just fine.
The list server “cleans up” (sends those annoying messages) every 7 days, but I forced one this morning to start from scratch. We rely on Phil McNamara for outgoing mail service (thank you so much, Phil!), so I can’t necessarily see the final delivery step, but I will try to track the problem and see if I can figure out what’s going on and put a stop to them.
