I cannot open a certain collection with Rade 7.0.4 because of a -49 error, with a note that it’s “in use elsewhere and cannot be opened. Another Helix application may be using it. (Error -49).” It isn’t, of course.
With Utility 7.0.4 I get a -39
error, with no further explanatory note.
Rebooting the (virtual)
machine did not help. Thanks in
advance for any suggestions on how to
proceed. Cheers,
Gib

I think it might be an EOF
error, but what about the -49? I can't locate my error number
list.
Hmmm…I used to use
DiskWarrior, but I'm not sure how to do that under Parallels
Desktop. Maybe Apple's Disk Utility? Cheers,
Gib
I'm away from my computer and this is off the top of my head but isn't a -39 and end of file error? Do you have a utility for rebuilding the directory on the volume?
I'll try rebooting the real
machine in the morning. Cheers,
Gib
Gib,
I would start with restarting the computer.
If that didn't work I would open it in Rade (if you can). The I would run Utility and Compress it, Compress Object Map, etc.
Best to not panic until those are done...
