You control that code now. You can certainly make it faster if you think
it warrants it.   I've done it both ways in regards to the defined and
there was a time when it made a very noticeable difference. Not today. I
just noticed something unbelievable to me. The N should have been
working just as you describe with the True. I thought I always tied that
to an indexed abacus.  In this case the N is actually NOT indexed! 
Fourteen logical questions answered and a handful of records out of more
than 50K delivered in about a second is fast enough for me. Perhaps it
is good that the Helix path no longer works for me.
