Thanks Lenny, I think I have this right, but here is a screen shot of the energy saver tab in System Preferences. Let me know if you see something amiss!! Power Nap is the only “nap” setting I can find. I assume apple changed the name at some point.

Hi DaveIf you open your applications folder and get info / "command i” on any App you there is the option to Prevent App Nap. I’ve just used the client as my example.

Good luck. I hate stuff like this as well when everything seems the same but something has clearly changed. In older threads there have been comments that AppNap shouldn't impact the performance of Client but can't remember if there were any comments regarding Server.

Back in May (The same day I had a hip replaced...great timing) our helix server was fried in a lightening storm. After that I have had continual issues with clients staying connected on the new server. server is mac mini (late 2014) running Mojave. Server is 8.02 (build 8020) Running from ethernet, wi-fi off on this machine.

Hi DaveThis may sound like a strange question…. But are you running the Mini ‘headless’ or do you have a monitor for the Mini and, if so, is it an Apple display or other brand? Like Samsung, Dell, etc?

Hi DavidOK… I was tormented by this same issue with the same symptoms. It drove me crazy and caused a lot of hassles for people using Helix Client. I was able to pinpoint it to the computer sleeping. But I had all the settings set properly so the machine would not sleep . But the 3rd party HDMI monitor was living in its own world. Long story short I decided to try another way of preventing anything from sleeping. I found a little app on the Mac App Store called Amphetamine. It enabled me to absolutely prevent any type of CPU or display sleep. It has all sorts of preferences but all I needed was one that causes the mouse to move. I set it to do this once per minute. Voilá. All issues like you are experiencing were gone. Now six months with no problems at all.Hope that helps!PhilipSent from my iPhone
