New Fall Classes and Helen Wills Playground!

San Francisco Recreation and Parks offers fun and educational classes for everyone from tots to seniors and this fall there are even more classes on offer! The community asked for expanded programs and that's just what we got. This fall the Helen Wills Playground clubhouse (located at Broadway and Larkin Streets) will be hosting fantastic classes offering a wide range from tots art, tennis and gym classes to youth hip-hop to adult dance, yoga and belly dancing--there is even a 3-6 year old youth Aikido class!

It's easy to find a class and register online and find classes with customizable search options on the Rec and Parks website. Simply go to the find a course page, select the age group you want and then scroll down to select Helen Wills Playground to see classes offered. Or, go directly to the SF Rec and Park Registration website and search by facility to see a list of all classes offered at Helen Wills. Browse for classes now, as registration begins Saturday, August 6 at 10am!

The fall catalog is available in an easily accessible online PDF format (activities are listed by location in the back) or you can drop by Helen Wills and other clubhouse and rec center locations to get a hard copy. You can register online or in person at numerous Rec and Parks locations listed on the website.

With more classes and incredibly competitive rates this is a better time than ever top get out and take advantage of all our community has to offer. From cultural enrichment, to arts and activities if you just need to burn off that extra energy or get in shape, there really is something for everyone!
