Hi everyone!
Two yoga classes are coming to Betty Ann Ong Recreation Center. There will be a FREE 6-week trial session starting this week, from January 27th through March 6th. Classes will continue to be offered by registration in the Spring Session, and the cost will be $48 for 8 classes. See the details below and bring your own mat!
Tuesdays:
Gentle Hatha with Julie Watson
10:30-11:30am - 3rd Floor West
Gentle Hatha incorporates
restorative and standing postures into a slow, meditative, calm practice. This
class is great for beginners or advanced students and will help stimulate and
relax the body through mind-body awareness.
Fridays:
Vinyasa, All Levels with Julie Beckerman
9:30-10:30am - 2nd Floor AFS
Vinyasa is dynamic way of
linking breath to movement, and sequencing is often built around sun
salutations. The class is approachable and non-competitive, and students are
encouraged to find their own rhythm and pace. In the class you will build heat,
endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration.
