There are still spaces available for spring activities at the Betty Ann Ong Chinese Recreation Center:

Betty Ann Ong Chinese Recreation Center SPRING ACTIVITIES

• AROUND THE WORLD IN 8 WEEKS
  • Course # 35308 – Wednesdays – 3/26-5/14 – 10am-11am – $32 
    • Children ages 2-4 years old will experience the world through literature from other countries.  Literacy, science, and social skills will grow while we explore the different cultures and customs found around the world.
• BASKETBALL—PEEWEE FUNDAMENTALS
  • Course # 34938 – Saturdays – 3/29-5/24 – 10am-12pm – $48
    • Teaches kids ages 5-7 years old the basic skills of basketball, teamwork, and sportsmanship. (No Class 4/19)
• DANCE—YOUTH (HIP HOP)
  • Course # 35049 – Tuesdays – 3/18—5/6 – 4pm-5pm – $56
    • Students ages 6-10 years old will learn a little bit of all the backgrounds of hip hop dance, from house dancing to popping and locking to b-boying. (No Class 4/1)
• SOCCER—REC & TOT
  • Course # 35409 – Thursdays – 3/27-5/15 – 9:30am-10:30am – $40
    • Rec & Tot soccer classes are designed to introduce the game of soccer in a non-competitive, but fun and positive atmosphere to kids ages 3-5 years old .  Participants must meet the minimum age requirement at the start of the program. 
• TASTERS CHOICE GIRLS IN SPORTS
  • Course # 35386 – Saturdays – 3/22-5/3 – 10am-11:30am – $48
    • This is an introduction giving girls ages 5-9 years old a sampling of three sports.  A rotation of three sports within the hour and a half class will involve the following: In-Door Soccer, Volleyball, and Basketball.  (No Class on 4/19)
