Client Certificat Authentication

I'm curious if the helenus driver supports client authentication via certificates? It is unclear from the documentation, but it looks like it supports simple user/password authentication.

Currently the only auth supported is simple user/password. I am also unsure if this works properly in Cassandra 1.2 & 2.0.  We do have plans to get all of this implemented though.
