I am also beginner in simulation (thermal buildings, Type 56) and I have to say I am not happy with the the tutorials available for TRNSYS. And I was seraching around a lot and could not easy understandable material. The official tutorials are written in such a way that exeprts in the field might understand them but for beginners it is vey difficult.
hi, dear Xandrika, your post was in 2014 but still difficult to find a tutorial. if you have any suggestion.? and also i studied ground heat transfer it is easy to see the effect if ground surface area larger than external walls.
Type98 enables the incorporation of CONTAM within the TRNSYS simulation environment (www.trnsys.com) and couple with Type56 to perform combined energy, airflow and contaminant transport simulations for multizone buildings. Type98 provides the continued benefit of the full features of CONTAM as it evolves without requiring a redevelopment of a new type as previously required with Type97. This coupling is enable using socket communications messages that are documented in the CONTAM User Guide. The Contam3dExport tool simplifies development of coupled models by extruding CONTAM projects drawn to scale using the pseudo-geometry mode of ContamW.
