FATHER'S DAY TRIBUTE VIDEO

Dear Heidkamps:

Many of you are in my thoughts and prayers, knowing you will be observing this weekend with a heavy heart - the first for some without their Father or Grandfather. Now that my senior thesis is complete (I graduated last month), I am able to use this footage and still images for vignettes to post on social media and preserve our heritage using modern technology for the next few generations to appreciate.

It was also on this day 67 years ago my parents, Rosemary H. and jack Cramer were married at Queen of Angels; and tomorrow will be the 179th birthday of Nicholas Jung, later changed to Young, one of the first two men featured in this video.

This tribute was super and made me proud to be a Heidkamp. I didn't see Emil N. Heidkamp featured in this. That is my grandfather that I never met. Isn't he one of the brothers?

Your Grandfather Emil Nicholas is the tall, good looking one in the back row center of this photo. He is also in the footage (1:38 - 1:48) the only one standing on the right where the four sons are saluting their Dad  (our Great Grand-Dad, Emil Michael) seated on the steps of their family home located at 2125 Wilson Avenue home.
