Team Don,

Don passed away peacefully early this morning at his home.  We are happy that he is no longer suffering.

We can't thank everyone enough for the outpouring of prayers, notes, call, meals and constant support.  Is is obvious that Don was loved by many.

The funeral mass will  be held Tuesday, January 24th at 10 am at Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church in Park Ridge, IL.

P.S.  We can't help but think this was Don's Ultimate and Final Protest to die before today's Inauguration... the ultimate Jokester.

​When I was a little boy, I so enjoyed the family picnics.

Whether there or at other gatherings since, I was always guaranteed a smile and a laugh from Dick and Don. 

One of them, or maybe both at different times, used to joke that the other was "the second most handsome man I know".

How blessed I feel to have known Don. Gregarious yet reverent. Smile a mile wide. 


Praying for and thinking of Marsha and his brood and for the entire clan as we remember the best of the best.
