Dear Fiona and others,

Thank you so very much for organizing the livestream so that we could be at Heidi's funeral. It was so important for us to be able to attend from far away. It was especially moving to hear the wonderful words of Heidi's brothers and of Jonah and Nick spoken with great courage and above all love, and all the other voices too. It was a true tribute to Heidi and a help to us all to say this difficult goodbye. Thank you again.

I’ve learned more about Heidi in the last week than any other similar period in my life, and it all revolves around you guys.  What a tight, loving family you are.  This last week I’ve met a few of you and recall, with gratitude Friday evening (17^th) sitting around the pushed together tables at Melville House with Fiona, Len, Peter and siblings eating pizza from across the road and Fiona asked “anyone know a funny story about Heidi?”.  For me, it was important to learn that Journo’s or family, we all knew her the same way – “social butterfly” (Fiona) works for me.  Thank you all for your amazing tributes.

Thanks to all of you for putting in such effort and preparing such wonderful and fitting tributes to my mother.

As I mentioned @ the funeral, it provides much strength in the face of adversity. So thank u again.

Jonah, Nix, Hugo and I are doing ok and will continue to stay strong amidst the difficult times which undoubtedly lie ahead. I am sure I can say the same thing for Heidi's siblings and extended family.

A big thank you to you and others who worked tirelessly to organise the livestream of Heidis funeral. All the loving tributes from her special friends were a huge comfort to the family.
