- The richest 20% of Pakistanis receive on average seven more years of education than the poorest fifth?
- Every year the education crisis costs Pakistan USD 9.3 billion – the equivalent of the damages caused by the devastating 2010 flood.
These statistics have a real impact on millions of Pakistanis - and they can and must be changed. If you are interested in leading this change, and through it transforming the lives of all Pakistani’s, the Teach For Pakistan Fellowship is for you. Through this Fellowship you can rewrite the future of this country by leading the fight against the injustice that is our education system. The Teach For Pakistan Fellowship gives outstanding graduates the opportunity to change the face of education in Pakistan. Through our two-year, paid Fellowship, you will be teaching in an under-resourced school, taking charge as you ultimately lead your students and their communities to a brighter future. Every day as a Fellow, you will be innovating to tackle problems few in our generation can imagine and taking responsibility for a classroom full of students as you develop into the leader Pakistan so desperately needs.
