Dear all,

Visions Global Empowerment is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization dedicated to youth education and empowerment in South Asia.  Our mission is to change patterns of inequality by supporting educational initiatives for youth affected by poverty and conflict.  

We are currently recruiting volunteers to join our summer service-learning trips in India and Sri Lanka, where volunteers will serve as camp counselors at youth leadership trainings in low-income and conflict-affected communities.  Volunteers will also visit and learn from local nonprofits serving their communities year round, and will get to explore some of the immense cultural richness and diversity that South Asia has to offer.  We invite you to take advantage of this unique opportunity being offered:

July 20th to August 2nd, 2013, in Tamil Nadu, India &

August 5th to 16th, 2013 in Sri Lanka
