EDWON (Empowering Dalit Women of Nepal) is a Cambridge-based nonprofit that works with Dalit women in Nepal is looking for volunteers. Over the last 10 years, EDWON has helped more than 2,500 of women and girls claim their rights and live in dignity. We're particularly focused on health, commerce and education. Our volunteers work on real projects that have significant impact for women in Nepal. We're particularly looking for volunteers who can help with media and communications, fund-raising and grant writing. Hours are flexible, and this is an outstanding organization known for its commitment to gender and development in Nepal.
