Theabove referenced installer SOLVED my issue. This may not be the perfect installer as this is for a NUC M15 Laptop, however, I anticipated this was similar enough! I will post again if this causes any issues! Otherwise, so far so good with the Framework DIY!

To Framework Support: Please work with Intel to add the required drivers to the Framework Driver Pack and/or Microsoft Windows Updates and/or Intel Driver & Support Assistant so that this is more automatic for everyone!

Getting caught up on this thread. It is important to note that Windows 10 is not officially supported on the 12th Gen Intel Core Framework Laptop. All necessary drivers for our latest Framework Laptop are in the driver package for Windows 11 but as Windows 10 does not have proper support for Thunderbolt baked in, workarounds would be required in order to obtain drivers. This is just one potential workaround needed as there can also be other incompatibilities that a customer could run into on Windows 10. Also, drivers included in our Framework Driver Bundles will rarely be the latest from the component manufacturers as we confirm compatibility with testing at our manufacturing facility with Framework-specific hardware. We update the bundles over time, however, we have not yet authenticated or released a new bundle for 12th Gen Intel Core Framework Laptops since launch.

I was having issues getting my Itunes to recognize my Iphone 4s so I followed the apple support instructions here: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows and it said to delete the driver software (Step 2 of Reinstall the Apple Mobile Device Driver). After I did that I have been unable to get any of the steps that follow to work. Is there any place that I can download the Apple mobile device USB Driver software? I have tried numerous things including re-installing Itunes multiple times but this does not appear to reinstall the driver software. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am having the same issue - when my iPhone is connected to my laptop, it's not being recognized. I keep getting a message on my phone that says "Allow this device to access photos and videos?" that keeps coming up even after I click "allow."

I tried the fix that was recommended, but I do not have an "Apple" folder in my "Common Files" folder (in either the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folders), so I am not able to update the drivers.

Connect the device. You should hear the telltale sound of Windows device connection and one section should gain a new entry. That should be your device. It may not be labelled correctly at this stage. If you don't hear a noise suspect a damaged cable.

Failing that try a full tear down and rebuild of iTunes as set out in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. 64-bit users could also try the alternate Download iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) build which is sometimes a useful workaround.

Or lastly try rolling back to the last build of iTunes that worked for you. See iTunes installers for download links. If you're rolling back from 12.4.0.119 to 12.3.3.17 or 12.3.2.35, for example, then you'll also need to roll back the library database using the method described in Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash. The tip includes suggestions for reintroducing any recent purchases so at worst you lose a few playcounts and/or a recently created playlist.

let me remind u.The process u described is good but the problem is in my pc(win 10) itune doesn't install or make a folder of applemobiledevicesupport driver.so i can not pick the driver. I have tried unstalling and reinstalling itunes several time including deleting all related reg file still didn't work. tried with older version of itune, didn't work. reset my pc, didn't work. I don't have any option any more. My phone is also stucked.please help me finding the solution.

My pci memory controller driver and SM bus controller driver is not found. I went to PCI lookup and found that the drivers are as the picture seen below but I can not find it anywhere. Can someone help me find the PCI memory controller please!

Ok so I extracted right, I go to device manager and the errors are gone now? I can't find the pci stuff anywhere. The only thing I did was install intel chipset software installer. was that a bad move?

If that does not work, So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Download, run, and save the results of this utility as a text file:

-System-Support-Utility

Then ATTACH the text file using the instructions under the reply window ( Drag and drop here or browse files to attach ).

I'm trying to uninstall the driver for a USB audio interface (the Steinberg in the image below), because I want to install a fresh version, since the current one is acting flaky. For some reason a PAIR of these show up in Device Manager.

...If I delete them ("remove device"), as soon as I reboot they reappear. If I delete them and try to install a new one on the spot before rebooting, the installer claims they're already installed, as you can see here ...

EDIT - PS - Tom Yan, in his answer, pointed out that I could also find the same driver under "Sound, Video and Game Controllers". Indeed, there it was. I "uninstalled" it from there; it disappeared from "Audio Inputs and Outputs". But the installer insisted it was still installed. I rebooted and tried again. Same result. (see attached image...) There is no sign of this device/driver in Universal Serial Bus controllers but I did find a Steinberg USB controller utility in Apps and Features and that did allow me to uninstall it far enough to install a new one. So I'm marking Tom's answer as correct.

Also give Universal Serial Bus controllers a look, but most likely you would NOT find anything that you need to remove there. (I don't have this kind of "special" USB sound card to tell. For the "generic" ones there will be only a USB Composite Device which relys on Windows builtin "generic" driver that you do NOT need to / CANNOT uninstall.)

You may also want to take a look at Apps->Installed apps in Settings before any of the above. Sometimes the driver installer will install some kind of "uninstaller" for you. (For some older builds of Windows 10, you might need to go to the deprecated/hidden Control Panel instead, since Installed apps lists only those Windows Store apps, IIRC.)

I am having the same issue, but I think I may know what it is for you BaronBlake. You must install Armoury Crate. From my recollection, it will see those missing drivers and install them. I hate software like Armoury Crate because it adds needless junk to your computer, so once I get the drivers I will uninstall the Armoury Crate software. If you are doing gaming and more personal things you might want to keep it because will keep drivers up to date. I hope this helps you.

I use Armoury Crate for the same reason. It makes a fresh Windows install go smoothly and saves a lot of time. After that, if you want the latest drivers get them from MoKiChU's threads. You can then use the Armoury Crate uninstaller if you don't want to use it any more, but I like it personally and it causes me no issues at all.

If your IO drivers package is like mine, try running the install.bat file instead of asussetup .exe - from memory I think it's a silent install, so the drivers might only show as updated after a reboot. If not, you could also try running both files as admin. The other thing that might help is to go to Device Manager, look in system devices and try updating the drivers manually for the GPIO controller. Click on update drivers and then browse to the downloaded drivers folder. Not certain if this will help, but worth a try.

These instructions were written using Windows XP and Windows 7 as a basis. Other versions of Windows may have slightly different procedures, but these directions are similar enough to provide a general guide for installing the USB drivers for programmers/debuggers.

When the Device Manager opens in the pane on the right side, click the '+' sign or white arrow next to Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand a list of USB devices. The programmer/debugger should appear in the list if installed correctly.

If the programmer/debugger does not appear under the Universal Serial Bus controllers, either the USB drivers have not been installed, the programmer/debugger has not been associated with the correct drivers, or the programmer/debugger is unrecognized. Follow the procedures below to correctly install the USB drivers in order to use the programmer/debugger.

Once the installer starts, follow the on-screen prompts to select an install location and begin the installation process. If using Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 or 11, a prompt may appear asking if the driver should be installed even though the publisher cannot be verified. Click the Install this driver software anyway option.

If the New Hardware Wizard prompt appears, or Windows will not automatically associate the drivers for the programmer/debugger, the USB drivers can be associated with the connected programmer/debugger manually.

If the New Hardware Wizard prompt has not appeared on the screen, right-click on My Computer and click Manage in the pop-up menu. When the Computer Management window appears, click Device Manager in the pane on the left side. When the Device Manager opens, in the pane on the right side, find the connected programmer/debugger in either the Other Devices or Universal Serial Bus controllers lists. Right-click on the programmer/debugger and click Update Driver Software... in the pop-up menu.
