as we all keep trecking the latest

is there a sign what versions or compile we are looking at in the GUI itself

it seams that if (im on Ubuntu10.04 Linuxcnc)
a. start from programms->graphics Heekscad
b. terminal command heekcad
c. ~/heekscad/bin ./heekscad

i got different outputs so i dont see what system im now on

It woudt be good to get also from git a sign witch system is running
