Fellas,
Open invitation to any and all players and subs to join us for a
practice session to loosen up before the season begins. I have this
Saturday afternoon free or next Wednesday evening. It doesn't take a
full team to get out there. We should be able to pull off a batting
session with 4 or 5 guys.

My bad using the old group. I'm not convinced yet that everyone is receiving the messages. Anyway, I went to the managers meeting last night.
There are 3 changes to the rules this year. First, when you hit a homer they prefer that you NOT circle the bases. They want to speed up the game. Second, courtesy runners are allowed once/inning/team but it no longer HAS to be the last out. Lastly, if you hurt the pitcher with a line drive the ump will confiscate the bat for testing. If the player used an illegal or altered bat or if they refuse to submit the bat-instant 5 year suspension. I kinda like that one!!
Haven't heard from everyone about practice. If enough guys can do it I'm game for practicing this Saturday and next Wed. Please let me know!
