Myfresco premium brushes won't load without a decent Internet connection. Is there a way to use them offline? Also, almost everytime I open fresco, I find that all the premium brushes are gone. Even the brush library won't load. Only uninstalling and reinstalling fixes the problem. But it still requires decent internet connections to load those brushes. I downloaded all those brushes directly on fresco. Why can't I use them offline? Any suggestion? Thanks.

[My device is ipad pro 6th gen]

Of course you can work offline, but saving has to be done while there is an internet connection going.

check that

-documents.html

also you can check if your cloud syncing has an issue by going here:

-cloud/kb/arent-my-files-syncing.html

Using your CC app

You can check this post below and see all the answers the Adobe employee gave to people asking questions:

You have a little cloud at the top right of the Fresco window. It needs to show as completely grey. If it's constantly spinning, that means it's syncing. The faster the connection, the faster the syncing is done. So, if you have a very unstable connection, then it can mean that it will take a long time to sync everything, including brushes you previously imported and that didn't have time to load properly first time.

If it's a concern, I would delete those brushes, and upload litle by little so you can have a smaller set availble. For example it can happen if you get a flimsy connection and try to download Kyle's Megapack. This pack is huge and contains brushes with a large input, making them very long to import.

Can you not use the bruses offline once they are imported?

Ideally, you import and upload brushes with strong internet connection. Then once you're working (online or offline as sometimes we work without a connection) the brushes would be in the library, not online.

I exactly said the opposite

You can use the brushes offline, once they are loaded. The issue is that loading for example a Megapack can take many hours if you're on a flimsy internet connection. If it's an issue, try to load smaller packs.

Also just to pint it out. I use Fresco on both Windows (desktop) and an Ipad. This is my personal experience that brushes on the Ipad takes way longer to load than on my desktop. I never have any lag on my desktop. The brushes are saved locally and I think it is due to the Ipad slower system. (But don't quote me on that one Just personal experience)

Tried them all. Unfortunately, none of these worked. I made sure all brushes were synced one by one, using a strong internet connection. Nevertheless, once I close the Fresco app and reopen it, the library disappears.

In that case then it would be a syncing issue, if you have the CC app (you should ), try to pause syncing and turn it back on. It's just one of the easy thing you can do and it may not work. Let's hope someone at Adobe will chime in soon!

I am having the exact same issue. I'm on a premium paid subscription to fresco, but 6 days into my free trial.

I've downloaded the megapack from Kyle, and also purchased and downloaded brushes on my ipad and imported them into fresco. They show up for 5 minutes, but if i switch canvases, move to another app, or get out of my artwork for 2 minutes, the brushes disappear. I'm struggling with this as it's a total workflow killer.

I found a fix to this. If you uninstall the Fresco app, redownload, the brushes seem to stick this way. Or at least they have for me. I really wanted Fresco to work for me and this was my last ditch effort. Thankfully, it worked and so far, so good!

I'm trying to download "Kyle's Brushes" but no matter how I arrive at I am instructed to "Sign in to download." the problem is I am already signed in. if I click the sign in button, I'm sent to a log in page for a split second, then redirected back to the /photoshop/brushes.html page. Ive tried loggin out then going to the page and clicking the button, at which time I am allowed to sign in, but then the redirect loop resumes. I have tried Chome, Mozilla and Edge all with the same outcome. I turned on my VPN to see if that changed anything, but all the same. I would really like to be able to download these brushes...

I've seen several instances in which signing out, uninstalling the Creative Cloud App, restarting the computer, re-downloading the Creative Cloud App and then signing in, has resolve this problem. That would be my suggestion to try next. Hope it works.

I agree with SGans, because the link that you noted worked. I believe if you reinstall the Creative Cloud App and get your sign-in working that you will have no problem. The brushes are there and waiting for you!

Thank you all! I was never able to download from the page I had listed in the OP, but this morning I was going through the motions to see if it would work today, and found an "Add Brushes to Library" button on this page; -haring?promoid=NLMHRCX1&mv=other&locale=en I was able to click that button and it recognized I was signed in and automatically downloaded all brushes and installed them in my library! Thanks!

The exported brushes can now be imported into another photoshop document. You can also share them with others by passing along the .abr file. To import brushes in photoshop, go to the Brushes panel menu, choose "Import Brushes", choose the appropriate .abr file, and click the "Load" button.

Deleting brushes in photoshop is pretty simple. Open the Brushes panel in photoshop (Window > Brushes) and choose the brush or brushes you want to delete. In the Brushes panel menu, choose Delete Brush. Confirm your choice when the prompt appears.

Another option is to download the brushes directly to your iPad in Safari. Download the file and navigate to the Downloads in the Files app. Once there, open the extracted folder. Install the .abr file. If a prompt appears, choose photoshop to open the file.

I would like to update Photoshop but I am scared about keeping my brushes. I currently have lots and lots of brushes I've added from the Internet as well as custom brushes. They are stored in a couple different places in my computer. I also have customized the brush folders, so for example I have a "Favorites" folder as well as other custom folders. If I update Photoshop, will I a) lose my brushes b) lose my folders?

To save your new brush permanently or distribute it to other users, you must save the brush as part of a set of brushes. Choose Save Brushes from the Brush Presets panel menu, and then save to a new set or overwrite an existing set. If you reset or replace the brushes in the Brush Presets panel without saving it in a set, you could lose your new brush.

Be sure to have a complete system backup using Time Machine before you update your macOS. My last OS update failed and deleted my hard drive. Although it took quite a few hours, I lost nothing when I did a system restore from Time Machine.

I went ahead and tried updating to the newest version of Photoshop (23.2). However, it kept freezing on the preset syncing stage, either when first starting it up, or when trying to exit out. FORTUNATELY, following your advice, I had not removed the previous version, so I uninstalled that new version and have gone back to the old one. I tried calling Adobe to find out what was happening but they were not able to provide an answer.

Do any of you have any experience with this? The new Photoshop did say it was suggested to move to a newer OS than Catalina (was still on it.) However, I am not so confident that going to Monterey would have fixed it. Looking online it looks like others have been having the same issue.

Create strokes that resemble those drawn with the angled point of a calligraphic pen and are drawn along the center of the path. When you use the Blob Brush tool, you can paint with a calligraphic brush and automatically expand the brush stroke into a fill shape that merges with other filled objects of the same color that intersect or are adjacent in stacking order.

The Brushes panel (Window > Brushes) displaysbrushes for the current file. Whenever you select a brush in a brushlibrary, it is automatically added to the Brushes panel. Brushesthat you create and store in the Brushes panel are associated onlywith the current file, which means that each Illustrator file can havea different set of brushes in its Brushes panel.

Brush libraries (Window >Brush Libraries > [library]) arecollections of preset brushes that come with Illustrator. You canopen multiple brush libraries to browse through their contents andselect brushes. You can also open brush libraries using the Brushespanel menu.

If you want to apply a different brushto the path and want to use the brush stroke settings used withthe original brush, hold down Alt (Win) or Option (Mac OS) whenclicking the new brush you want to apply.

To draw a closed shape, hold down Alt (Windows)or Option (Mac OS) as you drag. The Paintbrush tool displaysa small loop . Releasethe mouse button (but not the Alt or Option key) when you are readyto close the shape.

Tip: To adjust the shape of a brushed path after youfinish drawing it, first select the path. Then position the Paintbrushtool on the path, and drag until the path is the desired shape. You can use the technique to extend a brushed path as well as change theshape of the path between the existing end points.

You can make the brushes you create available for every new document by adding the brush definition to the New Document Profile. For more information on new document profiles, see About new document profiles.

If you do not want to see a seam between the artworkpieces used to create the pattern brush, turn off the Anti-Aliasingoption from Edit > Preferences > General (Windows) or Illustrator> General > Preferences (Mac OS).

To customize a stroke instance for Art Brushes or Pattern Brushes, click the Options of Selected Objects icon in the Brushes Paneland set the stroke options. For art brush you can set the strokewidth along with flipping, colorization, and overlapping options. For pattern brush, you can set the scaling options along with flipping, fitting, and colorization options.
