Airborne laser weapons are not new. Patents for powerful lasers which can burn houses and cars on the ground from an airplane were filed back in 2013 on Google Patents.
Israel, China, Russia and the USA have all commissioned the development of airborne lasers. The idea of a so called DEATH RAY which can incinerate buildings, woodland and even moving targets, such as missiles has been around a long, long time.
In 1923, Edwin R. Scott, an inventor from San Francisco, claimed he was the first to develop a death ray that would destroy human life and bring down planes at a distance. NIKOLA TESLA believed that his giant DEATH RAY could be harnessed in war to destroy incoming attacks from over 300 kilometres away. Tesla built his “death ray” at Wardencliffe on Long Island, and it is possible that he tested it one night in 1908.
