hello again.. this time from hanoi where we arrived this morning.

our 5-day stay in bangkok is already over, even if it felt much longer. we enjoyed it a lot and it was a very good start for travelling here... i think :)

my backpack is much (too) full now.. but well.. i think we will send a package home very soon already to get rid of stuff. ;)

i cnat say much about hanoi yet given that we only arrived, but can say that it is very noisy!

but we found a good guesthouse and our room should be sufficiently quiet. lets see how i sleep here. the beds are good in any event. which is important.

tomorrow we'll visit the city a bit, and then we do trips to halong bay and sapa before continuiing further south into the country. a pity that we only have 3 weeks here. but better than nothing. and i'm really  happy to be here.

i send you a noisy, but happy hello from the far east and hope to find soon more time to write more detailed about all my impressions etc as the blog will have to wait. but i hope to upload a couple of pictures soon at least. especially as we have 1h internet free here every day.
