I've posted the character creation info for the Heaven Emptied campaign... Go to the google group and click the "Pages" link on the right-hand side to see everything.

Roger,

I'm very impressed with what you've done so far, but I do have a couple of questions re: player character creation options:

1) You mentioned that certain Monster Manual races may be available, but none were listed on the "Races" page; are you only allowing the PHB races, or is the jury still out on the MM ones (gnomes, et al.)?

2) The ranger is absent from the table presented in the "Classes" section; is that a mere oversight on your part, or is it actually unavailable to PCs?  Just curious...

Oh, and just for the sake of thoroughness, you might want to indicate which "multiclassing feats" are prohibited in your game, due to certain classes no longer being available.

I'm probably going to allow certain MM races, but not all of them. I
may also create some hybrid races (Half-Hobgoblin, anyone?). I just
haven't got around to it yet.

The gnome, specifically, is out, for no other reason than that I was
already going to eliminate them as a PC race when the game was
targeting 3.5, and I had a neat little story about how some people
believe their god (the great trickster) spirited them away. Now that
4e has actually removed them, it's just one more way in which 4e lines
up with what I had planed for the game.

Oh, good lord. I can't tell you how many times I looked at that table
and thought that it looked like something was missing. And the
Ranger, of all classes to miss, since it fits into the more primitive
setting so well! Thanks for the catch; I've added it to the table.
