“Whatever scars there are on my heart, none came from an enemy; they were all inflicted by friends.”

As you may have heard, today (Wednesday) is my last day at HeatSync.

Nate I will really really miss you. I wish you all the very best, whatever you may do or go. Peace and blessings...

I also will miss you. You were devoted to the Lab, and brought more than you took away. Good luck and God bless you!

I fear I may have been a pebble in your shoe at times. I hope you know
that I have nothing but respect and admiration for how much of yourself
you put into the lab. The combination of your dedication, your
knowledge, and your skill made a collossal impact.

Thank you, Nate!

Bob

Nate, I have really appreciated your guidance as I ramped up my participation at the lab. And you have done a LOT being the scenes, I think more than any one of us is aware of. You will be sorely missed. Thank you for all you've contributed!

This comes off as a bit of a surprise, I was just talking to you last night and had no idea. The lab will be certainly worse off without you, no matter what anyone thought your dedication to the lab did not go unnoticed. It is sad to see you go, you will be missed, but I hope to see you back one day.

Your request to leave the lab has been denied.

But seriously this really really hurts and while I'm not surprised I am in shock right now.

I hope you know the deep respect many at the lab have for you. You've been a revered lab OG with lore and countless tales of times you've helped folks at the lab, the lab itself, and anyone who has walked through our doors.

Your bluntness, honesty, transparency, and wisdom earned through real experience have shaped how I approach engineering and life in general.

That lab would have fallen into disarray long ago were it not for all you've done. I hope this isn't your last day but a break and that we will still see you come in and work on projects of your own. I trust we will come together to pick up the responsibilities you've taken on.

Please remember you are always and forever welcome at HeatSync. You're a part of this family whether you like it or not.

Nate, I am sorry to hear that you are leaving. Your contributions to the lab over the years have likely made a huge impact.

Good luck in whatever endeavor has captured your imagination!

Beautifully put Moheeb and indeed I do hope Nate comes in and enjoys time for himself and his own projects.
