Based on the mew updated bylaws, I am resubmitting my original proposal for card access for Brett

There are plenty of reasons to give Brett access stated in the original thread, but here's a new one:

Having card access will help Brett put on more events like this (the one he's doing Tuesday)!

Brett currently has to restrict these activities to Open Hours and/or ask others to host. That's silly. Let's get him card access!

As a board member, he is really kind, nuanced, intelligent, enthusiastic and hardworking. While I don't know him in another context, card access means we trust someone not to steal. The fact he was denied a card is highly unusual and deeply disturbing.
