Discard the expired (yellow color) parking permits.
Please use the new Parking Permit Hangers (orange color).
30 Permits are available on the hallway rack (with the safety glasses).
New permits are good to Dec 31, 2022.
Use for GREEN LOT (Pepper) and ORANGE LOT (South of Main).

Restricted Parking.jpg
Downtown Mesa Assn has given different instructions about where to park.
The MOST restrictive version is to park at the "Permit Required" rows (Green or Orange)
Go with that (until we get a better explanation.).

3hr Parking.jpg
Downtown Mesa Assn seems to be unaware that the "3 Hour Parking" signs have been extended until 8pm at night.
However, as the DMA closes at 5pm, they assured me that nobody will be ticketed after 5pm.
So if you (or guests) use the 3 Hour Parking area, plan accordingly.
Don't overstay the 3-hour limit (but evenings apparently are excepted).

No Parking.jpg

"No Parking" means no parking.  Imagine that.

D.M.A. understands that occasionally people need to briefly load/unload stuff at the back door.
According to them, that should be for only a few minutes, with hazard lights flashing, and people actively loading stuff.

DMA's complaint is that people have been parking in the alley for hours at a time.
Apparently, the signs were changed to full-on "No Parking" because of the construction activity, with large vehicles needing passage.
(Strange that the roll-off dumpster was not a problem.)

It's also discourteous to hog the alley parking for hours when other lab members that may have a legitimate need to briefly. load/unload stuff.

(Possibly the lab member's recent ticket was a "No Parking" ticket, rather than an "over 3 hours" violation).
