AMS Installed on Ouch - Needs documentation

So the exciting part first. 

The Elegoo Canvas AMS has been installed and successfully tested on Ouch. It runs amazing and is going to be a real asset going forward. That being said, theres a LOT of moving parts. I had an ai kick out a quick infographic and stuck it on the machine but I am going to have to write an entire document on using the new system. Some highlights:

The system changes the way filament is loaded and unloaded, even when using a single color of filament. You must load the filament in the "new" way to use the printer. The infographic has the steps but basically you press a new button on the lower right of the screen that looks like 4 rectangles, select the first spindle, hit edit, enter the filament information, confirm, hit load, and then push it into the ams. To unload its similar but you hit unload instead of load.

When using MULTIPLE filaments, the most recently printed color can be unloaded by just hitting unload, all the other colors/types will need to be LOADED first then UNLOADED.

The biggest caveat is that the AMS system does not play nicely with orca slicer. Its possible to use it, and I have created a custom profile to do so, but it requires a significant amount of pre-print, post-print, filament change, and other custom gcode. The easiest way to bypass all of this is to use ELEGOO SLICER which is a fork of Orca Slicer. Alternately, you can load the custom profile I created and use orca as normal, and then once you have sliced make sure you UPLOAD but do NOT PRINT from orca slicer. Just upload to the machine and then print from the machine, selecting which color is which number on the machines LCD. Again, all of this is a nothing thing if using elegoo slicer.

Due to all of the above, I am thinking about piloting replacing orca slicer with elegoo slicer for all lab use, but would like to get peoples feedback. Again, at the end of the day anyone can use nearly any slicer to slice your model and print it, this would be the "Default" slicer we tell people off the street to use and that we switch to as first step in troubleshooting to investigate issues.

I have been struggling with this as well. I have printers from 3 different makers and was hoping to just use Orca. But with the Canvas it has been difficult. I went to Elegoo slicer for the Elegoo printer and it works really well. I would think using it for the Elegoo printers in the Lab would be best.
