• Station evangelism : David Lang gathering marketing info (like for a PowerPoint slide) on stations. Champions please get in touch with him.

• Coordinate with station champions before making changes to anything! Complaints have been raised regarding unilateral changes to stations under guise of do-ocracy. Unilateral decisions about what is "junk" and should be discarded.

• It is in the bylaws that anything affecting more than 4 square feet of space in the lab must go through the Proposal Process and be voted on at Hack Your Hackerspace.

• Use Parking Tickets for items you want to discard. Follow directions on the ticket form. Also post to Google Group.

• Items are going missing! Hosts, keep an eye out on what items are leaving the lab. Volunteers to help hosts also appreciated!

• Lego Tower Day upcoming. $70 donated so far, that will let us get 24 new base plates. Thank you!

Station Reports

• 3d Printers - All good!

• Display windows - Replacing CRTs with LCDs slowly.  

• Wood shop - Andre is new Champion. James replaced band saw.

• Bio lab - Congrats to Sofia our new Champion. Sofia is working on getting the distillation apparti up and running. Interested in distilling essential oils. 

• Laser - Gweike has new home on table. Moved bike station. Firmware issues. CLEAN THE LASER FAN? It can rapidly become a fire hazard! Last known cleaning about 1 year ago.

• Metal shop - James is new champion. Lathe class 2 weeks ago, another tomorrow. Mill certification classes coming after June due to James being absent, but there is demand!

• Sewing - Doing really well, shelf expansion appreciated!

• Vinyl - Plugging right along. Chris bought in his Hat Press. Starting in July second Friday of every month will be board game night. 

• Electronics/Microcontrollers - Smith working on de-clutter. Eric wants to contribute because he knows where some clutter should go.

• Coworking - we love monitors! All of downtown Mesa must be covered in monitors! (We understand there are competing interests, like Sewing.)

• Music - Moheeb and Veronica have donated 2 violins.

• Welding - Orphaned!

• Jewelry - Cynthia will be out for a couple weeks 

• Art - Linda has been cleaning the area up

• Photo lab - workshop done recently

• A/V station - Rick and Landon working on redesign. Threaded iron pipe is involved. Might need a proposal.

• Quantum engineering - station changes when observed. Stop looking at it!
