NOTICE | Electronics Station | Upcoming Reorganization

HeatSync At Large:

This message is intended to be an official do-ocracy notification that a few of us have plans to begin reorganizing and improving the Electronics station in the coming weeks/months. 

We recommend that anyone who has personal property without a Parking Permit in or near the Electronics area that might be mistaken for electronics parts/equipment, to have their stuff issued a parking permit or to move it to a more permanent location by 10-Mar-2026. Anything with a parking permit will be ignored, and every effort will be taken to ensure that its location remains as consistent as possible (though temporary relocation might be necessary).

We would also request that anyone who OWNS property that is on perm/semi-perm loan to the lab to reach out or clearly label the equipment as such also by 10-Mar-2026. We will otherwise need to assume equipment belongs to the lab.

*** WE WILL NOT THROW AWAY OR OTHERWISE REMOVE ANYTHING FROM THE LAB ***

During this reorganization, our goal is to improve the following:

* Ease with which parts are found

* Knowing what we have in the lab

* Reclaim space that is occupied by less useful equipment

Additional iterations may be employed to further granularize the organization, but for now this is our North Star.
