HSL Update from Board

Not much is going on with the board as of yet. 

In case some people are not aware, our rent is going up every month until March, at which point it will be a full $1,000 higher than before. This is because the landlords placed a new air conditioner at their own expense. 

We desperately need new members and classes. Anyone looking to sign up for the events committee other than David and Antonio, please let me know. 

We're looking at getting a location/communication with cities committee together again, as we haven't communicated with the cities about a new location in over a year. While we appreciate our landlords working with us, it can't hurt to see if one of the cities will give us a building that is more affordable where we can do more of our functions.

The Arizona corporation commission has been updated, but it is taking a while. Our new treasurer cannot perform most treasury functions until this takes effect. 

A board meeting schedule has not been determined as of yet, but I will be publishing the agendas and the minutes to the group as it becomes relevant. 

Red tags can be found around the lab on various projects and items. Please take care of them to avoid strife and heartbreak. 

Eric W and I are looking at a small business grant that could cover some losses from COVID. We are going to try to apply for it. David is helping with this too. 

Feel free to update this list in a reply, or ask any questions. I hope I didn't forget anything. I'm going to try to do this like once a month, on schedule with the board meetings. We could also have those meetings more frequently, if we all feel like it. We'll try to make those open.
