Hi all,
We failed to meet quorum for yesterday's HYH, therefore a meeting did not take place. We did. however, all have a blast during open hours handing out candy to the trick or treaters! 🎃
Thanks to Nate for helping me fetch and clean the folding table, Arnob for securing us more candy, and Sofia, James, LANDON, David Flores, and others for helping man the table outside and everyone who donated goodies for the table. The lab appreciates your efforts and I'm sure our downtown Mesa community does too. I'll post some more photos here when I get them.
Next HYH is Thursday, November 13 at 7:00pm.
In the meantime, we have some fun up and coming events at the lab: in addition to our usual regularly scheduled programming, we have
Group Programming Practice on Wednesday at 7pm and a
Whitepaper Book Club on Thursday at 7pm (the subject is the
Google File System.)
Other events of potential note in the next couple of weeks are the OWASP Phoenix meeting and the Prusa Users' Group. I'm also getting word of a potential Friendsgiving dinner 🦃 on Friday, November 28. 👀
Check the calendar for more details on these and other upcoming happenings at the lab.*

* PS - I want to do a better job of highlighting happenings at the lab; I'm currently pulling these from the calendar but I eventually want an email in this style to reach a broader audience. Please feel free to reach out to me with more details if you are planning on doing something exciting you'd like to be featured or clarified.
