I actually tried to design and build a system to do this for my senior design project at ASU.

I do have a couple electronic paintball markers available to use.

Just a legal heads up!

If you shoot some one that is not playing paintball with you, you can be charged with anything from simple assault, to assault with a deadly weapon. It all depends on the responding officer and how pissed off the person is that you shot. some cities will also charge you with discharging a fire arm in the city limits.

I'm not a lawyer, just some one that has had a lot of interaction with law enforcement...
