Antonio documenting our brands of supplies and where to acquire them
Station evangelism: What would everyone want to put on 1 or 2 presentation slides about the station they champion/help run?
Let David Lang know; he's putting something together!

Alternative to self-hosting services with local hardware is cloud services like DigitalOcean. Not very expensive; ~$10/mo

Odoo lab management system testing
IT system redesign: Rick asks that it be made a proposal. Landon will take proposal on.
We need IP addresses reserved for 3D printers. Operations responses have not been answered. Ask Antonio!
IT Infrastructure concerns:
Prior Operations head changed all passwords and did not hand off.
Among other things this resulted in heatsynclabs.org domain expiration.
We are working on a plan to avoid this going forward.
Suggestions from Rick:
Two non-ops people know the master passwords at any given time.
No one does business under their own name! Role-based email addresses (e.g. operations at heatsynclabs dot org) only.
KeePass being set up
Landon: we should have discussion of Events Team
Should write access to Google Calendar be public?
We could get rid of the Events Team if so!
Member petition for vote of confidence regarding Champion David Lang
Petition follows procedure at https://wiki.heatsynclabs.org/wiki/Bylaws#MEMBER-CALLED_SPECIAL_ELECTION
We spent about an hour in discussion on this.
Much of what was said also appears in the discussion in Google Groups. https://groups.google.com/g/heatsynclabs/c/2NQPoWnS-i8
Petition has been submitted to board, vote will be held within 30 to 60 days
Milton: Large handicapped-accessible planters being built for the City of Tempe will be in the middle of the space this weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Moheeb and Rick: potential "homelab" (personal experimental servers) event being discussed. Event needs someone to run it!
James: Lathe class, lockpicking events
Lego Day tower build (popular!)
Eric: OrcaSlicer class on Sunday
(Web) Browser Wars day
3d Printers - People speak ill of the printers too easily! Getting started page on wiki could have some permissions errors. Errors from EnderDragon; out of commission. Bottom shelf isn't ideal for SLA printers; they could use space to expand into.
Display windows - Not broken. Moheeb will set up LightForm projector
Wood shop - James Kehoe fixed bearing on band saw, it's working again! Andre is new champion! 🎉
Laser - Smaller Gweike laser: possible fix pending.
Metal shop - going well, class on the 10th, another on 24th. Help from Brian Keller and David Lang helping with maintenance.
Sewing - Couple machines down previously, couple got online this week. Jewelry/Sewing space expansion collaboration in the works.
Vinyl - Chris is rocking it as champion! Loaned us a hat press. Electrical circuit capacity is a concern.
Electronics - Smith Hayward, David Flores. Shout to Jordan for organizing help.
Microcontrollers - Same as electronics
Welding - Orphaned! Prior champions indisposed currently. Need to find new champion and determine best practices. Station is functional but gas needs restocking.
Jewelry - Cynthia will be out for a couple weeks and will be missing meetups during that time. Station is popular; kudos to Cynthia!
Art - Needs champion. Millet House uses this station monthly. The surrounding stations (3d printing and Lego) sure would like more space...
