Proposal: Establish Bard as official board position.

Hi everyone,

I’d like to propose adding a new official board position: Bard. This role would focus on documentation, storytelling, and sharing the ongoing work of the lab. The Bard would help with project writeups, event recaps, social posts, and general communication that keeps members and the wider community informed and engaged. This position would not replace any current responsibilities but would support the board and membership by making our work more visible and easier for people to follow.

An alternate interpretation is the classic Bard who wanders the space singing our triumphs and mishaps. Anyone seeking the position would then have to secure it through an audition and a song battle. I’m open to either version.

I’m bringing this forward to get discussion started and to see if there is interest in voting on it at an upcoming meeting. Feedback and suggestions are welcome.
