Sorry, the grainy text is the resolution they sent.
City of Mesa held a meeting to update businesses about Downtown projects.
Here's a summary of a few:
#1 ECO Mesa East.
Green Parking lot NE of HeatSync.
Plans were circulated last summer, but things got held up due to increasing constructions costs.
Some issues about parking and "getting the city involved" ($$$ ???)
Roughly the same size as the original ECO that is NW of HeatSync.
7-stores, 110 units
#2 Residences on Main
NW corner of Main & Country Club (W of Taco Bell)
5 stories, 200 units
Still under construction (didn't mention an opening date, but soon)
#6 Edge on Main
SE corner of Main & Country Club (S of Taco Bell)
This is the site that just got bulldozed.
Appears that Dairy Queen is NOT affected.
8 stories, 400 units.
Just getting started.
#10 Restaurant Incubator
Next to The Nile (Across the street from HeatSync)
This will contain about 8 small start-up restaurants.
With indoor food court and outdoor seating.
Incubator is where restaurants can get started before moving on.
Idea is for each to be there about 2 years.
They will stagger them, so move in and out every few years.
This is just getting under development, so a ways out.
Some of the ORANGE Parking Lot construction (behind the Nile) is installation of larger transformers for the block
ORANGE Lot should reopen soon, with loss of 1 or 2 parking spaces for transformers.
#14 (BLUE
TRIANGLE
) Everybody's All Day Cafe
104 W Main (just outside HeatSync's Front Door!)
Development proceeding slowly. Few details.
Idea is 1950's Theme Diner open long hours.
