It is sortof active.  At least there is a person or two per day that pop into ask questions.

"You must log in to see this page."
Isn't there a setting somewhere we can change to make the page visible for those who don't book face?

It's currently set to "Open".  I think you're just seeing facebook trying to assimilate more users.

Its currently set up as a member group, meaning you have to be a Facebook member to a part of the group.

If we had a Facebook page, it would be open for all others to see. Also, people could like us.

so this, https://www.facebook.com/HeatSyncLabs?fref=ts

is our page, someone is posting on it, I don't know who.
If we had more traffic on this page instead of the group as well, we could reach more people interested in the space.
Maybe dissimulate the group and have people post on the page instead so it's fully public. Just a thought. I'm throwing it out there, feel free to throw it on back.

If somebody doesn't have a facebook account, then why are they going to facebook to look for heatsync labs things?  Facebook isn't a web host.

They should be at heatsynclabs.org, or our google group.

I created the group because it's easier to get notified when somebody posts to it than it was with a "page", also because with a group, *everybody* gets notified when somebody posts to it.

We do have a facebook page:

We switched over to a group a while back, because the page was pretty deserted. I think it was a good move. The group seems far more active, and communal.
