I tried restarting Chrome, removing and reinstalling the Todoist Chrome extension, and removing all other Chrome extensions, but the "Add Website as Task" function continues to respond with "undefined." Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
I have been a todoist user since the start of the app. I find it fundamentally ingrained in my day to day life. I have ADD and use the app to help remind and motivate me to complete tasks both in real life and on the app. I have over 150k tasks completed and use the application to track everything from what I read, what I watch, how I shop and activities I take part in. It is literally a part of my life and I would be worse off without it.
I use todoist primarily for work which due to security reasons won't allow me to install the app. I have since found that Firefox web version works but I do not use FF so its an extra step to have to run the app in FF instead of chrome just because it is so slow.
After installing the Toggl extension, sign into the Todoist web app. A Toggl button will now appear next to any task you hover over. Click on the button to start the timer, and the time entry will automatically be populated with the task name. Click on the button again to stop the timer. Boom! You know how much time you spent on the task.
The RescueTime Chrome extension brings that automated time tracking to your web browser keeping track of how much time you spend on which sites and auto-categorizing those sites from Very Productive to Very Distracting.
While the app itself is useful, the Buffer Chrome extension ups the ante, letting you capture interesting content online to share with your audience later without ever leaving your browser or opening a social app. You can choose to publish immediately, add it to the next time slot in your queue, or manually set a date and time to publish.
The Buffer extension turns social posting into part of your everyday workflow rather than something you have to set aside large amounts of time for. And they happen to be a very nice, remote team to boot.
(If you want a new tab screen that's less zen more personal dashboard, a new Chrome extension called PurposeTab is a nice alternative to Momentum where you can get a simple, visual reminder of your most important goals, habits, and tasks.)
Most websites do not have your best interest at heart. They want you to click on ads, sign up for newsletters (you can find our subscribe button in the top right if you're so inclined ?), attend webinars, click to the next article, and do any number of things other than read what you came to read. The Just Read extension lets you strip away all that other stuff and, well, just read.
No list of essential Chrome extensions for productivity would be complete without an adblocker, and Adblock is one of the finest. Basically, the extension keeps you from getting whacked in the face by spammy ads trying to sell you everything under the sun and keeps that pair of boots you looked at last week from following you around the internet for months to come.
Not sure if "pop out" is the correct term. I was having issues getting into Todoist yesterday on Chrome. Still couldn't get in today so deleted the extension and re-installed. When opening the extension there used to be an option to pop-out or pop-up where Todoist opened into it's own window which made viewing much easier. I can't seem to find that option any longer. Not sure if it's Todoist or me at the moment. Any guidance, much appreciated.
Hi there, I am trying to make it so if I put a pulse in Monday it automatically makes a new task in todoist. Maybe when the due date is reached it creates a task in todist. Or can that be done maybe with google calender not todoist? Thanks so much!!
Do not mind you asking at all. Basically 2 reasons
I am in social media marketing and content creation.
First repeating tasks. I can schedule repeating tasks in todoist. I have clients that are realtors. And they want say every monday to showcase a property for sale. Todoist allows me to set a reocuuring task for that. And I can easily check it off when done but it automatically repeats the next Monday.
And second, Todoist has an chrome extension. So lets say I find an article I may want to use as a post or at least for a post idea. With the Todoist app I click the app it allows me to send a link of the article right to the clients project. And even schedule it if I wanted to. I know that I can email the Monday board but chrome has no more email to link. You have to open gmail or outlook or whatever paste the link there, send it as a pulse to the board, then it goes into the emailed pulse group and you have to move it to the right group.
Does anyone have issues with the Chrome extension? When I click it, it either doesn't open or takes 3-5 seconds. Inevitably, I try to click it a second time as it's finally opening and then it immediately closes. So frustrating.
Recently the agency I work with decided to block the maxcdn.com domain. That's when all my emoji's for todoist stopped working. I've tried using a bunch of different emoji extensions for chrome, but regardless of what I use, it uses the twemoji.maxcdn.com source to try to retrieve the image. Is this something that Todoist is doing or is it Chrome? I haven't noticed broken emojis on other sites, but I'm wondering if some part of todoist - maybe their react web server or something, uses that domain? Are their other emoji stores out there that I can somehow insert or is this just a server-side thing that Todoist would have to fix/change in order for it to work for me?

You can keep all your data neatly organized with Google Keep, an excellent Chrome extension. Additionally, you can save images and pages as well as add notes to them. In short, its main purpose is to help you take notes and keep a to-do list.
My favorite feature, though? With this extension, you can create location-based reminders for your notes and lists. For example, you need to conduct some on-location research for a travel app. Make a list of everything you need to remember, and set a location-based reminder so that Google Keep displays your list as soon as you arrive.
In addition, Forest lets you schedule blocks of time to work on your to-do list without succumbing to procrastination. By keeping focused on one task at a time and not visiting any sites on your blacklist, this to-do list Chrome extension grows a tree.
