Gentlemen--I truly appreciate all the kind words in regard to the organization of the Spring Sing.  The ease of doing business with Valley City State University makes it relatively simple.  Once we had the coaches secured--which wasn't easy, I will admit--things really fell into place.

It was a great day.  From learning how to sing more full, using our whole voice as leads (I have some caution to go with that as we go forward), to basses taking on the roll of rhythm and tempo management, to thinking about the lyrics, managing the flow of our singing, Gordon's list of performance techniques and what about the free training that Mike got as Chorus Manager?  It was just so productive.

I can only think of about three things that could have made it better for me (they all sing tenor).  :)

The mass sing stuff was really great and I've decided we should keep this Sea Shanty tune in our repertoire.  If we can use it on a show--great.  But we need to have a song or two to sing "just for the fun of it".

Here's the songs we'll sing tomorrow:  You tell Me Your Dream, He's got the Whole World in His Hands (I have an idea that might blow our Chorus Manager's mind); Abide with Me; See Shanty Medley; Hey Good Lookin'
