OAuth Error when trying to sync to GoogleFit

Hello,

since yesterday, everytime I try to sync to Google Fit, I get an error "Application needs OAuth consent from the user"

Tried to revoke and reissue the permissions and also reinstalled , but no change.

Also tried to set my Google Account Security to support "lower safety authorization" without success.

As Google blocks a lot of other third party tools since some days, I think they also raised their needs for authentication on the API side maybe?

Can confirm

The sync does not work for me since May 24th

Seems that the apps has not be updated to be compliant with the changes to the Google Fit API : https://developers.google.com/fit/improvements

I get no error, but the app won't sync to Google Fit at all, even if manually triggered in the settings.

I can confirm the same issue. @David: You can see the error message only if you go to "Settings", "Debug log" (at the bottom of the page). It's a great app! I would love if it would get the Fit syncing functionality back.

I think this problem is due to this: https://developers.google.com/fit/verification#improving_the_behaviour_of_read_and_write_access

And developer do not want to pay this verify "license".

Yes, the last time mine synced heart rate data to Google fit was May 23 2021 I think that's when Google implemented their new read-write access restrictions. I have deauthorized and reauthorized the app multiple times since then to no avail. It is still collecting daily data from all my watches it just never syncs to Google. Luckily I have a tic watch pro 3 and a wyse watch. Tic watch pro 3 syncs heart rate natively to Google fit and wyse has the proper API authorization and syncs heart rate information to Google fit as well. I hope the heart Trace developers fix this soon.

A fix is currently being tested and should be released (if all goes well) within the next few weeks.

Development has been slowed to a halt thanks to covid, but I have since found some time to update the Google Fit syncing.
I'll drop an update in this group when the beta is up.

Can you separate text and value in complications? Example - Title field = "Last measure", Value field = %number of measure, and add to Text field= %last measure time
