Hi LSRs,
This Saturday (Nov 16th), Joshua and I are planning on riding the 214k Gravel Tour of Italy (RUSA Perm #4998) which is one of the gravel routes that I designed. Lots of quiet scenic backroads, starting at our usual spot in Italy and passing through Hubbard, Tehuacana, Wortham and Blooming Grove. At 133 miles with 70% gravel (147 km) this is the longest RUSA gravel route in TX. By finsihing this route, you can get the 100k gravel badge with just one ride. The weather looks good so far. The route is here:

Gravel bike with at least 32 in tires is highly recommended. Most of these roads are smooth gravel with occasional rough spots. There is about 2 miles of dirt road.
If anyone is interested to join us let me know. The planned start is 8 am on Saturday, lights / night gear are required. Plan about 13-14 hours to finish (time limit: 16 hrs 43 min)
Take care,
Peter
