Dont work, and for me it's not easy to understand why. Specifically: how do I separate in my pattern a group of any words from one of specific words that should follow, like state abbrev. or street "type ("st., ave.)?

I don't think you can assume that a "unit 123" or similar will be there, or there might be several ones (e.g. "building A, apt 3"). Note that in your initial regex, the . might match , which could lead to very long (and unwanted) matches. You should probably accept several such groups with a limitation on the number (e.g. replace , (.*) with something like (, [^,]1,20)0,5.

A valid home address is required. This is the address that determines the contests, candidates and referenda for which you may vote. Mailing addresses, including all PO Box addresses, will not return any results. If you do not find the address you are looking for:

ASP rules and sometimes parking meters may be suspended for severe weather or other emergencies. You can sign up to get email notifications of unplanned suspensions. The latest status is also available on the NYC Today Calendar.

NYC311 cannot give you information on how City parking rules might apply to specific situations. You should follow the rules posted about time limits and whether it is legal or illegal to park in a specific area.

An occupied illegally parked vehicle causes the same safety hazard and congestion as an unoccupied vehicle. While on some streets it may be common practice to double park during street cleaning, double parking is still illegal and you may get a ticket.

When ASP is in effect on Open Streets, vehicles should leave the street and may return after ASP is over. If barriers are in place, they should be set up in a way that cars can drive around them. While driving in and out of the street, please watch for pedestrians and travel at 5 MPH.

Oh my god, I got a pretty good deal on an item on ebay recently and the seller only uses UPS. Ok well that is bad enough but for years, UPS cannot find my street address. So lo and behold, they tried to deliver to the next street over which crosses my street not one but TWO times. It's like a horseshoe. Why can't these bozos ever figure it out?

Also years back I was required by them for a job interview to get my DMV information showing that my driving record was clean, which it was, and they refused to hire me. What gives with this company. First of all, they were promising me a delivery job to go from Berkeley to Richmond back and forth during the holiday season, then during the interview the lady abruptly gives me a weird puzzled look (I'm suppose to have aspergers, heh I can TELL when someone's look is puzzled or confused) anyway, long story short they refused to give me the job and I was out the money for buying that silly piece of paper from DMV which was useless at that point.

UPS is the worst. I try and try and try to avoid them but once in a while a seller just HAS TO use this idiotic company for shipping. Not only are they the highest priced for shipping in the business but they also are well known for damaging goods in transit as well as delivering to the wrong address.

Now, will UPS even deliver to the correct address tomorrow for the re-delivery? LOL. And what do I do if they don't, claim on them the full value amount after they lose my package? That would be pretty golden.

Yeah suddenly a big tree grew in front of TWO signs on opposite sides of the street LOL. Suuure. Well the street I'm on has the street they misdeliver to is a horseshoe shape and intersects my street twice so there's two distinct very obvious street signs that are clearly marked. Whoever delivers for UPS is very incompetant. They lost a $500 package of brake parts one time and the kid that lives at the same street number on the other street is into cars too, so I mean kinda no brainer what happened there.

I was hoping they would be curteous enough to send the truck back in the afternoon or late evening but of course they won't do that. They sat on the package at their facility in San Pablo all day yesterday and didn't bother moving it from there til today. It could have been attempted and then delivered properly by today. Well at least I still have some space left on my PC for now so I don't need the drive right away but, the product MSRP is like $385 and I got it for 60 bucks.. thanks to ebay. and would be funny if it was insured to four hundred dollars anyway probably wasn't tho lol.

I have a similiar situation with Fed/Ex who refuses to ring my doorbell or even put the package up on my front steps -- instead leaving the package out on the edge of the sidewalk. I have literally seen the driver toss the box out the door as they drive down the street. I have called Fed/Ex multiple times, but I have given up and only deal with seller's who ship USPS.

First my issue is with FedEx not UPS which delivers flawlessly here. After years of them slapping a door tag on the front of the mailbox (sometimes when we were in the yard or driveway) and not even attempting. They now are claiming they can't find my address (3 inch high numbers on Jumbo mailbox directly in front of my house). Turns out now they are trying to find it on Miller Ave (in town) and I live on Miller Road (way out of town).

I also understand richard1st. I have lived on "problem roads". First I lived on a "horseshoe" road it didn't cross anything but when they named the previous Township Road and County Roads which were just TR#? and CR#? they ended up giving each end to a different enumerator. One named their end Riverbottom Road and the other named it Old State Dam Road. On the same day I received letters from the County Enumerator office that my new address would be 1768 Riverbottom road and one that said my address would now be 3522 Old State Dam Road. And the other houses along the road also got 2 letters. Street signs were already erected (no I guess the crews never noticed that the roads was all one road. It was a mess.

Later I lived on a Private Road that carried the road number of the township road across the RR tracks with a gang box on the cross County Road. The County road came off US 36 and the Township road almost immediately turned off to the left that and within 100 feet there were RR tracks, just past that was a side road (my private road) that ran along side the tracks on the other side turning right. Directing people to my house, which was in FULL VIEW of US 36 was a hassle for the full 14 years that we lived there.

Hi, I have an app whereby users select parcels of land based on shapefile information. How can I return the associated street polyline location (lat, long)? I want to be able to locate the center of the street and its extents in front of this parcel. Refer to the image below the parcel is in blue and the street polyline I am interested in is in red.

I'm assuming you have found the census sheet that your grandparents are on for the 1950 census and want to find the address (# and street name) that they were living in. One way to answer your question is to look at the Enumerator's Handbook for 1950 at: =mdp.39015081273297&view=1up&seq=3 On page 29, paragraphs 90 and 91 are instructions about how to put down the specific location of each residence for both urban and rural areas. That is, the two columns on the left side of the 1950 Population Schedule. Sometimes for a long street, the previous census sheet would show the street name that also contains the addresses. Hope that's what you are asking.
