Evaluating and keeping track of your diet is an important step in
keeping a healthy diet. For anyone trying to lose weight, I strongly
recommend writing down everything you eat every day. Use a little
notebook, or use a PDA.... there are many programs available for
computers and cell phones that allow you to keep track of your diet.
Simply having to write down everything you eat is a great way to make
you more aware of what you are eating..... and will probably cause you
to lose weight.
A website that can help is the www.mypyramid.gov . It's based on the
government's pyramid (not the best). You can login to the diet tracker
at www.mypyramidtracker.gov and see how your daily diet compares to the
government.
Finally, CSPI's eating green project is a great new resource:
www.eatinggreen.org . The website shows how eating a mostly plant based
diet is healthier for you and the environment. There is a calculator
to see how good your diet is. Also, check out the new book!
Look out for another newsletter soon,

And check out the books section for a great new diet plan book by
