HI all, we have maybe an interesting signal in terms of clouds reflectivity - they could be darkening.

But not a science article but someone who plotted the newest Ceres data so I do not know - but if correct highly important - further longwave radiation over clouds to space could be increasing.

Maybe black carbon could be a culprit injected to the stratosphere by very large wildfires as only they can do it - its a new signal in the system as old smaller fires expanding slower could not do it - but just guessing around. But always wondered what black carbon would do to the brightness of clouds...

So its a good in the bad signal...

But maybe nothing - but some of you folks can plot Ceres data - so confirmation or not would be highly appreciated...

Here a bluesky discussion on it: https://bsky.app/profile/gergyl.bsky.social/post/3lxwifdsn422b

Here how clouds recover while albedo goes further down

Here the Ceres data split into the single components:

Here a Leon Simons graph on outgoing longwave radiation - seems to be a regime shift in the making...

So both would point into a similar direction, with on top a darkening of clouds - not too much sea ice loss lately - even a recovery to some extent...

All the best
