I found this information through another group, and it sounded
healthy, but I would like to hear from others on it to feel more
certain.

A proper alkaline diet suggests taking in at least 80% of alkaline
foods, like green vegetables or grasses, and never taking in more than
20% of neutral and acidic foods. Eating green foods, vegetables and
alkaline foods will help our internal fluids to achieve its natural pH
balance as the acidic environment inside the body will be eliminated.
That means by eating vegetables all day long, or taking sprouted
greens dietary supplements, and avoiding and acidic foods, the body’s
pH level will gradually be balanced. When pH balance is achieved, your
body will then start to restore its overall health.

A more plant-based diet should be good in any case. Is there any more
that can show validity to this?

Of course, it makes sense to have a cutback of some amount of acid
through our food choices. But I still think we should be getting some
as it comes from healthy food such as tomatoes and other things.
Vitamins and nutrients come through a great variety of good vegetable
food, that I think desirable getting that way, as opposed to greater
dependence on supplements. I am inclined to have doubts with what I
found from that material quoted above. That is so unless there is
other statements I would see that would confirm it more, any other
perspective can be desirable.
