Good people,

I am sending you this reminder on our upcoming Health Taskforce Conference Call this Saturday at 2 pm EST. We will have updates on tasks from our last meeting. Most important is that we need to raise money, even personal funds to send medical supplies to the UZ. I am chipping in personal funds and am asking all of us, friends and family to do the same because we cannot wait.

Date: Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2 pm EST.
Dial in Access Number: 1-309-946-5100
Access Code: 685810

Last Meeting Action Items (I may have missed some things)

  1. Develop criteria for hospital selection and select hospital to support (Ruwa, Natsai, Fungisai, Mambi)
  2. Send total list of medications/supplies (Dominic)
  3. Develop list of medications (Fungisai)
  4. FAQ list on distribution/import(Mambi, Dominic)
  5. Fundraising (Fungisai, Imani)
  6. Training Workshops (Mambi, Charles, Dominic)
Attached is a list of drugs needed and also a draft of the document about sending goods to Zimbabwe. This is very important because there a number of people out there who need this information to help us. In order for us to get the help we need for Zimbabwe, we have to get ourselves organized and provide the tools needed by others to help us.

Can we get someone to volunteer to take minutes for our upcoming meeting. I will need to show them the format we need so that minutes can be circulated widely even to people who will not attend.

P.S. Your names are on the health taskforce google groups, if you do not wish to be part of the google groups, let me know.

Thanks,

Dominic
