Dear All

 

The Ministry of Health in the past several years convened the annual HIV Care and Treatment Consultative Forum.

 

The Annual HIV Care and Treatment consultative forum is a platform for sharing innovation and strategies towards achievement of various targets in the fight against HIV & AIDS in Kenya. This Forum brings together senior officials from the Government of Kenya (GOK), development partners, learning institutions, local and international HIV experts, public and private practitioners, implementing partners and organizations of persons living with HIV among others.  

The theme for this year’s forum is “CREATING AN HIV FREE GENERATION: IMPROVING HIV CARE & TREATMENT OUTCOMES"

I wish to take this opportunity to notify you of the upcoming 9th HIV Care and Treatment Forum that will be held in Nairobi from 13th -15th November 2013 in Nairobi.

Official invitation for the forum will be sent from the office of Director Ministry of health. In the meantime kindly inform facilities, MOH staff and partners in your area of the planned forum.

Attached is the Concept note and call for abstracts for your information and action. Abstracts should be submitted to the forum email as detailed in the call for abstracts ( hivct...@gmail.com).

MOH participants are greatly encouraged to submit abstracts to the forum. The MOH abstracts will be given preference. Participants who submit abstracts may request for support from  NASCOP for the conference which should be done in advance.
