Life in Beijing. After missing breakfast we have now adjusted to local time. Already had lunch at 12 noon ( 7.00am Kenyan time). The weather, chilly, its the beginning of Autmn. Room heating and warm clothing necessary. The food is good, mmn yah good. No mischief. Too much of language barrier.The Chinese love their language so much that workers in the Hotel do not even know English. We have a translator though. Will be going out to the supermarket this afternoon for a feel, afterall today is for us to shed off jet lag. No facebook here nor Twitter. All prohibited. Internet is fast thouhgh. Calling is very expensive here. Its easier to be called from Kenya than calling from here. To aquire a sim card one has to part with about 270 yuan.And to use it you pay more. Its like one needs 4000 Kenyan bob to start communication out of here.
