Welcome to our Google group…

Ok, we ask you to help us, help you. In order for this to happen we need to clear up some basic rules so there is less confusion.

This group is supported by some great people. There has been many unpaid work hours put into the development and support for this project as a whole (program, website, design, etc). So, we ask you to remember and consider this before posting, because they do this mainly because they want to.

General rules

1. Keep bad language to a minimum and respect other users (and developers) in this group.
2. Avoid excessive use of the caps lock.
3. Do Not post any: spam, advertising, abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening or sexually-oriented material!
4. Avoid discussing topics of suspicious legality (illegally obtained copyrighted content)
5. Bumping a post is only permitted after 2 days of inactivity. Avoid cross-posting in multiple group conversations. If someone wants to answer, they will.
6. The language used on the board is English. This is the only language allowed. We simply can’t delegate resources to moderating multiple languages.

Policing

1. A three strikes policy is used in this group. Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offenses. If you receive a fourth warning, your account will be banned.
2. In cases where spamming, abusive posts, Multiple Registrations, or piracy are concerned, your account will be instantly banned without notice!

What to do

1. If you see a post that violates any of these rules, please report it by clicking the “Report this post” icon in the top right corner of the post.
2. If you are warned and wish to discuss the matter, please be polite when contacting the developer or moderator that issued the warning. You’re far more likely to get a good response if you do.
