Status of MoH Strategic Plan 2016-2020?

Dear Networkers,

Just wanted to ask if anyone knows the current status of the MoH Strategic Plan for 2016-2020?

We know that it will incorporate the SDGs but I have not heard if the MoH will be presenting anytime soon.

If you have a draft or know the status please update us.

Just wanted to share Claudia's response. There is a MoH National Health Congress today and tomorrow and it will discuss the Strategic Plan.

This is the information I received from German Embassy:

 

National Health Congress: We heard at the TWGH Secretariat meeting yesterday that the National Health Congress this year is to be held on 9 to 10 March, and the sessions on 9^th March will be open to development Partners. The agenda is still under discussion within MOH, but possible topics under discussion include: HRH, Code of ethics, HEF, and private sector. We hope to hear more from HE Prof Eng Huot at the TWGH meeting next week. We have also heard that a speech from Health partners will be requested as in the case of previous years; if that’s the case, WHO in discussion with USAID as a HP co-chair can facilitate discussion to develop it together.
