The conference in Austin builds on a successful first workshop in Berlin held in March 2019. Recent technological advances such as wearables and genome sequencing have led to massive cost reductions for producing data and an explosion in bio data and health data analytics, infrastructures and platforms serving a variety of businesses and organizations as well as patients and citizens at large.  The objective of this two day conference is to bring together scholars with diverse expertise and disciplinary backgrounds  to foster discussions on  novel and emerging ideas related to bio and health data and analytics around  innovation, entrepreneurship, and infrastructure topics.

To this end, the conference facilitates both small group and large group conversations. The first day is devoted primarily to the discussion of extended research abstracts along with two keynote presentations. The deadline for extended abstracts is January 6, 2020.  The second day  will feature invited speakers from academia as well as industry.
